Welcome to ChildX.de!

Our project is dedicated to people’s solidarity and it’s our vision that one day, people all over the world will be able to live under the same circumstances. In times likes these, with today’s technology and all the knowledge gathered in different nations in the course of thousands of years, it is simply not acceptable that so many people worldwide have to suffer from hunger and poverty!

Once ChildX is properly set up, our first aim is to offer the orphans of this world a place to live, where they cannot only eat and play, but where they can above all be at home. A place, where our world’s children can live and learn together.

What exactly is ChildX?

At the moment, ChildX only consists of a small group of people who’ve set their

sights on helping.

One part of this group is occupied with the setup of our website, another is engaged in publishing articles, while even another one deals with the further construction of the organization. It’s still a very long way to go until we can call ourselves an organization or even a foundation. Nevertheless, we’re looking forward to the future and try to make our vision come true by all means at hand.

Why orphans?

Of course, being human means everyone can only follow their visions and keep them in mind as their aim, so that they can be achieved one day – and we’re no exception to this.

There is so much misery in this world, but it’s the orphans who are suffering the most, for they often lost their parents very early in their childhood – some even became orphans through war – and they have been living in refugee camps or children’s villages for such a long time. How can we sleep peacefully then, while we all know that on the other side of this planet, children are losing all their

family, have to feel cold and are being haunted by hunger? I really do think it’s a sign of humanity that we think first of the children of the world before we seek other aims. Our first aim is to offer those children – who are the children of our world – a place they can call "home", where they can eat, learn and live.

A network of humanity

At the same time, ChildX is as well a project dealing with humanity. In a time like this, where human and moral values are fading into the background, we are trying to create a great network of humanity in order to stop this trend.

Much more important than a donation is the right organization. We’re trying to serve you with the best and most precise information on every organization. Of course, we would also like to enable you to contribute a part to ChildX – and above all: to the world – without you having to spend any money.

We trust in God’s compassion and people’s experiences, so we want to give all the people in this world the possibility to publish their experiences in a special blog created by us. We’d like to share our experiences with you and we’re looking forward to your submissions.

A network of humanity is primarily based on people’s solidarity, on social cohesion, so we think it’s incredibly important that everyone can contribute something to it, that is, that people talk about it and encourage everyone they know to join in. The Internet in particular has so many possibilities to contribute to the creation of a network. Often, it’s already enough to leave a link to ChildX on your website, or in your favorite forum’s signature. You’ll soon be able to find a banner for this purpose in our banner section. Our experiences show us that this is often sufficient to inspire people in order to help, so we are trying to reach our aim through the spreading of links. You can find more information on this issue in our section "Network of humanity".

The right donation (Or: Is money really necessary?)

Today, it’s unfortunately simply not enough to donate money – on the contrary: most donations aren’t even used where you intended to help.

Even if you thoroughly consider which organization you should donate to or which person is reliable enough for your donation: in the end, your donation won’t get to where you wanted.

Of course, donating money is a vital aspect of helping, and it really is important not to entrust your money to just any organization. This is the reason, why we don’t want to name any organizations or donations accounts here. We know that many organizations get rich on the expense of donors and buy themselves the biggest and most beautiful offices before they even think about actually helping others.

Asides from donating, there is another, even more important aspect to be aware of. Not every country is better off receiving donations, as especially countries of the Third World first of all need to enable their citizens to work.

Nowadays, donations are unfortunately often misused, for example in many African states. By inappropriate market economy, they are dealt a much bigger damage than they already had. It’s not from poverty people there suffer the most, but from sheer helplessness.

Many people in Africa can’t simply work properly, e.g. dried milk powder is imported from Europe and sold much cheaper than people there could ever produce it. Fresh milk can’t really be sold, as the milk powder from Europe is even cheaper than fresh milk from Africa.

We think that in the end, only the foundation of a network in which all people can organise is going to help. The more people talk about it and spread the word, the faster our success will grow and the faster people can be helped without money.

We would really like to thank you once again for your interest in this project and we do hope for a quick increase in humanity on earth.
